    My name is Coreen Humphries, and I am the owner of Gold Key Events.  I have many years experience planning and organizing different types of events.

    I have lived in Port Alberni most of my life, raising my family here.  I have been involved with Scouts Canada for over 17 years, in different roles and levels.

    I have been both an employee and an employer.

                                                                  

    Through my working and volunteer career I have had many opportunities to plan and organize numerous events, both large and small:

bulletday long outdoor events for youth, their leaders, and parents - over 800 in attendance.
bulletovernight Science World Trips for over 300 youth and leaders from all over Vancouver Island, including transportation, luggage transport, sleeping and meal arrangements.
bulletmilestone  anniversary celebrations.
bulletparent and youth dinners, including entertainment and speakers.
bulletbirthday parties - both youth aged and adult milestones.
bulletfundraiser dinners, complete with entertainment.
